Redmine Quick Tip: Use the Context Menu to Bulk Update Multiple Issues
Here are some quick tips to make your use of Redmine more convenient and efficient.
You can update multiple issues at once from the list view or roadmap view. This streamlines issue management, so be sure to take advantage of it.
1. To select multiple issues for bulk updating in the issue list, use either of the following methods:
- Hold the "Ctrl key (Windows)" or "⌘ key (Mac)" and click on the non-link area of the issue.
- Check the boxes on the left side of the issues.
2. Right-click on the non-link area of any selected issue to open the context menu.
3. You can update the status, assignee, and other details for the selected issues at once.
Note: To update fields that don’t appear in the context menu, such as "Estimated time" or "Parent task," click "Edit" in the context menu. This will open the "Bulk edit" screen, where you can update those fields too.
